SuperHeavy's self-titled album: Top 10 debuts in Europe; chart debuts listed

SuperHeavy's eponymous debut album is having its best chart performances in several countries in the western part of contintental Europe. The album was released on September 19, 2011, in most countries outside of the United States and Canada. The album's U.S./Canadian release was on September 20, 2011.

The members of SuperHeavy are Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger, Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart (who co-produced the "SuperHeavy" album with Jagger), Joss Stone, Damian Marley and Oscar-winning "Slumdog Millionaire" songwriter/composert A.R. Rahman.

In Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, "SuperHeavy" debuted at No. 1. In Switzerland, the album debuted at No. 2. In Denmark, the album debuted at No. 9.

Sales for the album in these countries have been helped by radio airplay for the album's first single, "Miracle Worker."

The members of SuperHeavy did select interviews to promote the album, but SuperHeavy has not yet done any public performances, and the band has no plans to tour.

As previously reported, the "SuperHeavy" album debuted at No. 13 in the United Kingdom and at No. 26 in the United States.
