Tickets
for the Rolling Stones's Hyde Park gig this June went on sale at 9am
today, but had already sold out on the band's official website by 9.03am.
The show is part of the band's 50 and Counting tour and the Rolling Stones are
one of the headliners of the 10-day series of events at Hyde Park's British
Summer Time gigs.
The Stones will play in London just days after they headline the Saturday
night of Glastonbury festival in June. The date. July 6, is 44 years after
the band first played at Hyde Park in 1969.
Tickets for last year's Rolling Stones gigs sold out in seven minutes, despite
the high prices. Ticket prices for Hyde Park started at £95.00 and went up
to £299. There are rumours of a second date being added due to the
popularity of the concert.
Tickets are already being re-sold on ticket marketplace Viagogo at a starting
price of £1,097 each, with tickets in the coveted "Diamond Circle"
area costing £2,500 upwards. Sold
out tickets are also available via Telegraph
Tickets.
