Rolling Stones announce start date of 2013 tour and more info on ticket sales

On April 9, 2013, the Rolling Stones officially confirmed that their 2013 tour will launch on May 2. The band had previously announced that the tour would begin at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on a May 2013 date to be announced. The start date could not be announced until certain basketball and hockey games at at the Staples Center were confirmed.
In addition, the Rolling Stones announced that the tour's concerts in Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Jose, Boston and Philadelphia will go on sale on April 15, 2013, at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale VIP tickets go on sale for those cities on April 12, 2013, at 10 a.m. local time.
