Mick Jagger in L.A. after L'Wren Scott's death.

Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger is in Los Angeles with members of his family as he prepares for the funeral of his longtime girlfriend L'Wren Scott. A spokesperson for Jagger told Us Weekly in a report published on March 20, 2014: "Mick has arrived in L.A. where he is with his daughter Karis and her family who live there."
Karis (who is 44) is Jagger's eldest child. Her mother is Jagger's ex-girlfriend Marsha Hunt. According to Us Weekly, Jagger's other adult children — Jade (who is 42); Elizabeth (also known as Lizzy), who is 30; Jim (who is 28); and Georgia May (who is 22) — have also made plans to be with their father in L.A. (Jagger's two youngest children are 16-year-old Gabriel and 14-year-old Lucas, who may or may not be in Los Angeles, presumably because they are in school.)
As previously reported, Scott (who was 49) committed suicide at her New York City apartment on March 17, 2014. She was found hanged from a doorknob. Scott was a fashion designer and former model who was Jagger's girlfriend since 2001.
It has not yet been announced where Scott's funeral will take place. She lived with Jagger in New York, London and Paris. If the funeral does not take place in New York, then there will likely be at least a memorial service for her in New York, where Scott lived for several years before she met Jagger. There have been reports that Scott's family want her to be buried in Utah, her home state.
