Johnny Depp Says His Keith Richards Doc Is Awesome, Far From Finished
Johnny Depp's documentary on Keith Richards has thirty-five hours of footage in the can, but Depp says that more shooting, to take place at an unspecified time in the future, is needed before the project can be completed. Among the things we won't be seeing any time soon are interviews with Patti Smith and Norah Jones, as well as footage of Richards playing with X-Pensive Winos. Depp went on to say that he envisions a theatrical release for the film once it is finished, which adds another nine months to its eventual Netflix release, or the point at which most of us will consider seeing it.
