Rolling Stones' 'Doom and Gloom' video premieres; 'GRRR!' is a worldwide hit
The Rolling Stones' music video for "Doom and Gloom" has premiered on Vevo on November 20, 2012. The video features actress Noomi Rapace playing a tough woman on various costumes who acts out much of the song's lyrics in between scenes of the Rolling Stones performing in a rehearsal studio. The video has images of violence, chaos and zombies.
Jonas Åkerlund, who directed the Rolling Stones' "Rain Fall Down" video, directed "Doom and Gloom." Åkerlund other music videos include Madonna's "Ray of Light," Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera's "Moves Like Jagger," Lady Gaga featuring Beyoncé's "Telephone," Pink's "Sober" and Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi."
Jagger tweeted on October 24, 2012: "Had a great video shoot today doing Doom & Gloom with the band & Noomi Rapace, directed by Jonas Åkerlund. Be out in Nov, hope you like it."
