Paul McCartney to Appear on Ronnie Wood TV Show
Paul McCartney will drop by the U.K. television series hosted by Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.
The ‘Ronnie Wood Show’ launched in the U.K. on Sky Arts HD back in
February, with the Rolling Stones great expanding upon his radio show
and speaking with many of his peers. Wood got perhaps the biggest guest
coup of his series so far by landing McCartney for an interview.
The hour-long special airs Monday night at 10:00PM local time in the U.K. on Sky Arts with McCartney sharing the stories behind some of the biggest songs of his career and offering a few anecdotes from his career with the Beatles.
McCartney may be off the road at the moment, but he’s made headlines in recent weeks for celebrating his 70th birthday, taking part in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert, and revealing his participation in the upcoming London Olympics festivities.
As for Wood, the musician recently entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the second time with Small Faces and has been quietly working behind the scenes with the Rolling Stones on their 50th Anniversary plans.
