Rolling Stones anniversary tour delayed -- and it could be because of Keith
There won't be a Rolling Stones 50th anniversary tour this year, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have both told Rolling Stone magazine.
"Basically, we're just not ready," Richards was quoted as saying and indicated next year is more likely.
"I have a feeling that's more realistic," he said.
But the magazine says it may be Keith causing the tour delay. There are still concerns about Richards' health almost six years after the head injury he suffered in Fiji in 2006. They may also not be planning a full tour, sources say, but a possible reunion with former member Bill Wyman is still being discussed.
Meanwhile, a Rolling Stones tribute show that featured Marianne Faithful and Ronnie Spector (she sang "Time Is On My Side" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejuPFITMwhA), who both were connected to the Stones' past, took place Tuesday at Carnegie Hall.
Also involved were Jackson Browne, Rosanne Cash, John Sebastian, Steve Earle, Art Garfunkel, Ian Hunter, Rickie Lee Jones, David Johansen, Taj Mahal and Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes.
