Ronnie Wood Skips Art Show Launch...

Ronnie Wood Skips Art Show Launch

The Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood skipped a party for his latest art exhibition in London so he can rest up for the band's final show in London this weekend (13-14Jul13).
The veteran rocker launched his latest art show, Raw Instinct, in the British capital earlier this year (13) and the exhibit's success was celebrated with a star-studded summer bash at the Castle Fine Art Gallery on Tuesday (09Jul13).
However, Wood was notably absent from the party and a representative for the musician told the London Evening Standard he skipped the event to make sure he is fully fit for the band's upcoming show in the city's Hyde Park on Saturday (13Jul13).
The gig will mark the end of a triumphant run of gigs for The Rolling Stones, following their two-month 50 & Counting tour of North America and a landmark show at Britain's Glastonbury festival last month (Jun13). They played the first of two Hyde Park concerts last Saturday (06Jul13).
Frontman Sir Mick Jagger recently suggested the band will be taking a well-deserved break following the final concert, telling Britain's Absolute Radio station, "(We are looking) forward to doing these two shows in Hyde Park, the last two shows of... this tour so we're gonna make them the best we can... Maybe there'll be things beyond that, but right now this is the summer then we have a bit of a break."
