Mick Jagger celebrates 70th birthday in London and says Stones are on 'a break'

Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger celebrated his 70th birthday more than a week in advance by having a party at Loulou's club in London on July 14, 2013. Jagger turns 70 on July 26, 2013.
According to Socialite Life: "Along with Jagger’s beautiful daughters, some of our favorite Brits let loose at Jagger’s party. Ed Westwick wore red pants, a hoodie exposing his beastly, yet sexy, chest hair and if you look close enough there might be a visible bulge through those pants. Bradley Cooper's girl, Suki Waterhouse, looked like it was quite the night as her hair was all sorts of messy."
On July 11, 2013, Jagger and his longtime live-in girlfriend L'Wren Scott attended the private view of "The Suzy Menkes Collection: In My Fashion" at Christie's in London.
Meanwhile, Jagger says that the Rolling Stones are on hiatus now that they have completed their "50 and Counting" 2013 tour in the U.K. and North America. The North American/U.K. tour (which ran from May to July 2013) got mostly positive reviews, even though it didn't immediately sell out in North America. (Fans complained that the ticket prices were too high.) However, all of the tour's concerts in the U.K. sold out quickly. AEG Live was the promoter of the Rolling Stones' "50 and Counting" 2013 tour, which celebrated the band's 50th anniversary.
In a July 2013 interview with Pete Mitchell of Absolute Radio, Jagger commented about what's next for the Stones after the tour: "Maybe there'll be things beyond that, but right now this is the summer then we have a bit of a break ... I'm always writing new songs, so hopefully we'll do new songs one of these days soon."
There has been ongoing speculation that the Stones will do more concerts in 2013. It will continue to be speculation until an official announcement is made.
