The Rolling Stones play backgammon before gigs

The Rolling Stones prepared for their show in Oakland, San Francisco Bay, by playing a game of backgammon.
The 'Tumbling Dice' rockers sat down to a session of the classic board game ahead of their concert on Monday (06.05.13) and member Ronnie Wood, 65, showed off his gaming skills by posting photos for his followers on Twitter to see.
Ronnie also decided to set a challenge to frontman Sir Mick Jagger, insisting he would ''thrash'' him at the game.
Accompanied with a photo of himself sat in front of the snakeskin-print board, Ronnie wrote: ''Waiting in my dressing room for @MickJagger so I can thrash him at backgammon... (sic)''
This quirky warm-up is a further sign the veteran rockers are slowing down and have turned their backs on the wild partying which they are famous for.
The quartet - completed by Keith Richards and Charlie Watts - also like to relax in front of an episode of period drama show 'Downton Abbey' and even make sure to finish their rehearsals early in order to watch the programme.
Ronnie is even friends with actor Hugh Bonneville - who plays Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham in the programme.
