Charlie Watts' A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie band debut album: 'Live in Paris'

Since 2009, Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts has been performing with the jazz/boogie woogie band The A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie. And now, the band is releasing its debut album:  "Live in Paris" (on Eagle Records) has a U.S. release date of June 26, 2012.
The A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie takes its name from the initials of the four members' first names: Axel Zwingenberger (piano), Ben Waters (piano, vocals), Watts and Dave Green (bass).
"Live In Paris" was recorded over several nights in September 2010, at the Duc Des Lombards jazz club in Paris. The songs on the album consist of originals, improvisations, blues and boogie-woogie standards.

Most of the band's concerts have been in Europe. But as previously reported, The A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie is doing eight sets from June 29 to July 2, 2012, at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City. Watts will also perform with the Les Paul Trio at the Iridium Jazz Club on July 2, 2012.
