The theatre producer wed The Rolling Stones guitarist in a small ceremony in London on December 21 wearing the 40-year-old gown, which had been repaired by designer Tommy Hilfiger's team.
She said: ''When Ronnie was in America on tour with the stones in December, I took it to Tommy Hilfiger to be altered. It was so badly damaged from being folded in a drawer for 40 years, but they brought it back to life.
''They put layered fabric on the bottom half, because it was so damaged underneath, but everything else was original.''
Topping off her look was a heart-shaped pendant given to her by Ronnie, 65.
She added: ''He designed it and his friend Aurora made it.''
Sally, 34 - Ronnie's third wife, after he was married to the late Krissy Findlay, and Jo Wood - also almost forgot to wear the traditional something borrowed, as well as something blue, something old and something new until remembering at the last minute.
She added to Britain's HELLO! magazine: ''A friend of ours, Catherine Clements, was doing the make-up and lent me her hairband about two minutes before.''
