The Rolling Stones rocker wed theatre producer Sally in a small ceremony last month, but they are planning to mark their union with a bigger celebration in the future.
Ronnie - who is currently in the Caribbean with Sally on honeymoon - said: ''Maybe on my birthday [in June] we can have a big bash and invite all our friends. 2012 was a blinding year. Really wonderful and so creative. The wedding was the culmination of all that.''
The ceremony on December 21 saw Ronnie, 65, joined by best men Sir Paul McCartney and Rod Stewart, but unfortunately the rest of Ronnie's Rolling Stones bandmates couldn't make the big day.
He explained to Britain's HELLO! magazine: ''[Sir] Mick [Jagger] was in Mustique with his family for Christmas, Keith [Richards] was in Connecticut for his birthday and Charlie [Watts] wasn't well and was down in Devon, but they've all sent their best wishes and support.''
Rod - who played with Ronnie in The Faces - was said to have put in a good speech about during the ceremony.
His wife, Penny Lancaster, said: ''Sally's dad made an emotional and funny speech and Rod's was a perfect tribute to his mate.''
