Ronnie Wood's Foot Injury Caused By Ex-Wife

British rocker Ronnie Wood has revealed the cause of his recent foot surgery - it stems from a car crash with his ex-wife 20 years ago.

The Rolling Stones star has recently been photographed using a cane to help him get around after undergoing minor foot surgery.

Now Wood has revealed the ailment was a cracked bone which resulted from his former partner Jo Wood crashing a car during their marriage.

The pair was on its way back from Jo's father's funeral when the accident happened, and the musician was in plaster for six weeks following the initial incident, but the injury came back to haunt him earlier this year (12).

He tells Britain's Daily Express, "Jo was driving and we had a crash. It wasn't her fault. The foot had been bothering me recently. It was a cracked bone. I had to have pieces taken from my knee and my hip. It is all repaired now."
