L'Wren Scott comes 'out of the shadows'...

L'Wren Scott comes 'out of the shadows'

L'Wren Scott felt she had ''come out of the shadows'' with her London Fashion Week show.
The stylist-turned-designer - who is in a relationship with Sir Mick Jagger - showed in the UK for the first time over the weekend and was pleased the collection went down well.
She said: ''London is my home and it's where I go about my business quietly - moving my show here is like coming out of the shadows.''
L'Wren usually shows in New York and she admitted part of her reluctance to bring her runway show to London is the lack of ''great models'', who tend to favour Milan, Paris or the US city.
She added: ''You don't always have as big a choice of great models in London as you have in other cities.''
The collection featured tailored outfits in sort pastel leathers or brocades, and were embelished with integral gold jewellery, gold swirls and teamed with 23 carat gold-leaf shoes.
L'Wren said: ''Gold has retained its value rather nicely.''
During the show, L'Wren served guests - which included Mick, Anna Wintour and Daphne Guinness - lamb shank shepherd's pie.
