Mick Jagger and Keith Richards will do the 'Top 10 List' on 'David Letterman'

Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards will present the “Top 10 List” on "Late Show With David Letterman" on December 11, 2012. CBS will televise the episode that night at 11:35 p.m. Eastern Time. CBS made the announcement on December 7, 2012. "The Top 10 List" segment of the Letterman show always features a list of humorous jokes about one subject.
It will be Jagger's and Richards' first appearance on "Late Show Show With David Letterman" but not the first time that they have appeared on stage at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City, where the show is recorded. The Rolling Stones made their first of several performances on “The Ed Sullivan Show” on October 25, 1964.
Tickets to "Late Show With David Letterman" are free to people ages 18 and over but a limited numbers of tickets are available. (Click here for more information on how to get "Late Show With David Letterman" tickets).
The Rolling Stones are doing several concerts in the New York City area in December 2012.
As previously reported, the Rolling Stones have 50th anniversary concerts at the O2 Arena in London on November 25 and November 29, 2012; at the Barclay Center in New York City on December 8, 2012; and at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on December 13 and December 15, 2012. The December 15 show will be a pay-per-view TV special titled "One More Shot," and it is part of a deal that the Rolling Stones made with Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment to distribute the special, which will be televised live in the United States at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. Needless to say, all of the concerts quickly sold out.
In addition, the Rolling Stones will be among the performers at the all-star 12-12-12 concert to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy. The event takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 12, 2012. The 12-12-12 concert (which begins at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time) will be shown live on several websites and TV networks. Numerous radio stations will also simulcast the event. A select number of movie theaters will also show the event live.
Other performers at the 12-12-12 concert who have been announced so far include The Who, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Kanye West, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Roger Waters, Alicia Keys, Billy Joel, Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, Eric Clapton and Bon Jovi.
