The Rolling Stones have unleashed their GRRR! Gorilla imagery on 3,000 locations in 50 cities across the globe in anticipation of their upcoming GRRR! greatest hits compilation. Landmarks including New York's Empire State Building, London's Big Ben, Tokyo's Skytree, the Sydney Opera House and more have been tagged with 3D gorillas based on the album artwork by Walton Ford.
Fans can download the free app uView, find a tagged location and check out the 3D animated images to find new content and pre-order information. Fans are also encouraged to send in gorilla animations and to share them on Twitter (@RollingStones) with the hashtag "#GRRR!" or by email at grrr@rollingstones.com. The 50 best entries will win prizes, and all fan photos will be posted on the Fan Wall.
GRRR! is due November 13th. For more information, visit the Rolling Stones' website and uView's website.
