Mick Jagger, Keith Richards on Sunday Times Rich List of U.K. music millionaires
Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards have once again landed on the 2012 Sunday Times Rich List,
an annual list that ranks the richest people in the music industry who
have residences in the United Kingdom or Ireland, based on their
estimated worth of their fortunes. Jagger is No. 10 on the list, with a
fortune worth an estimated £190 million (or $304 million in U.S.
dollars). Richards is No. 15 on the list, with a fortune worth £175
million (or $280 million).
Jagger is tied on the list with Spotify founder Daniel Ek and celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham.
Jagger and Richards make more money than the other members of the Rolling Stones (drummer Charlie Watts and guitarist Ronnie Wood) because Jagger and Richards are the chief songwriters for the Rolling Stones.
