Taylor
Swift says her ''wildest dreams'' have come true after performing with
The Rolling Stones, and she now wants to be ''friends forever'' with Sir
Mick Jagger following their collaboration in Chicago on Monday night
(03.06.13).
The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker took to the stage with The Rolling Stones frontman to perform a stripped back version of the group's hit 'As Tears Go By' at a gig held at Chicago's United Centre as part of their '50 and Counting' tour.
Following the performance, the 23-year-old beauty took to her Twitter account to thank the band - who are also made up of Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts - for inviting her on stage and accompanied a picture of her and Mick.
She tweeted: ''Filing this under 'friends forever'.
''Filing this under 'never in my wildest dreams'.Thank you @RollingStones for inviting me to Chicago to sing with you. (sic)''
Mick also took to the social networking site to praise Taylor for the performance, during which the 69-year-old rocker twirled the blonde star round as they sang together.
He wrote: ''It was great singing with you @taylorswift13 last night and doing the twirl! Here's the video from the show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O52TbIbCEKo&feature=youtu.be ... #Stones50 (sic)''
Taylor admitted the group have been a massive inspiration throughout her career and praised their energetic gig performances.
She said: ''I just got off stage and played with The Rolling Stones. That's not something I thought would ever happen in my life. They are one of the only bands where you see these fans who have been coming to these shows for decades and they always want to come back.
''The way that you see them give everything they have in every performance, that's what makes fans loyal to them. It's been a huge influence on my entire outlook on my career.''
