Rolling Stones Exhibit at Rock Hall Offers ’50 Years of Satisfaction’
Sprawling across two and a half floors of the Hall, ’50 Years of Satisfaction’ will also include a companion exhibit in the Museum’s Library and Archives, which focuses on the band’s 1975-81 touring productions. Some of the more noteworthy items on display include Mick Jagger’s ‘Steel Wheels’ green leather jacket, one of Jagger’s grammar school class photos, Keith Richards’ Rosewood Fender Telecaster, Charlie Watts’ mariachi shirt, Ronnie Wood’s Zemaitis guitar, and Brian Jones’ custom Vox Teardrop guitar.
Additionally, fans are being invited to participate in an interactive portion of the exhibit — a multimedia display that will incorporate their personal photos of Stones shows, memorabilia, and artwork. The fan-generated display is scheduled to go live on May 13, and will be viewable via the Rock Hall’s Facebook page.
