Capturing the “devilish” side of friend and band mate Keith Richards, this particular drawing is unique because it was collaborative artistic effort between the artist and his subject indicated by the note “Combined Wood//Richards” on the bottom left of the page. Jerry Hall, Sep 79

Sketch of model and former wife of Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall. A top model in the late 70s, Hall’s six foot stature and blonde hair made her one of the most photographed faces at the time. In 1977, she caught the attention of Mick Jagger at a Manhattan dinner party and the two of them became main features on the New York night life circuit, often frequenting Studio 54 and the 21 Club. The famous Stones song “Miss You” was written by Jagger about Hall.

Supporters and collectors of his work include Bill Clinton, who recently bought two of his works and Babington House entrepreneur Nick Jones.

Ronnie Wood said: “My two passions in life are music and art, I can’t imagine one without the other. Through The Stones, The Birds, Faces and Jeff Beck Group I’ve been creating art, collecting objects, pictures and memories that together provide an encounter with the people who influence me, the people I love and my own life experiences.”
