Ronnie Wood will counter his ex-wife Jo's tell-all book about their relationship with his own version of events.
Ronnie Wood is to respond to his ex-wife's tell all-book with his own tome.
Jo Wood recently revealed she is working on a book about her 24-year marriage to The Rolling Stones guitarist - who she split from in 2009 when he ran off with cocktail waitress-turned glamour model Ekaterina Ivanova - but he has been approached to write his own version of events.
A source told the Daily Express newspaper: ''Ronnie respects that Jo is entitled to give her take on events but he's not going to let her story be the only one out there.
''Ronnie wants to get it down on paper once the Stones are done with their tour next year. There are already some big offers from publishers Ronnie can pick and choose.''
One of the issues Jo is set to cover in her book will be Ronnie's alcoholism, which he has struggled with for years. He was drinking heavily when he left the family home and went to Ireland with Ekaterina in 2009.
Ronnie eventually separated from Ekaterina, sobered up and has been clean for two years. He has since dated Brazilian beauty Ana Araujo and is now romancing producer Sally Humphreys.
The 65-year-old rocker - who is also a member of The Faces and in the Jeff Beck Group - has previously released a memoir, titled 'Ronnie', in 2007.
He has two children with Jo - Leah, 33 and Tyrone, 28.
Jo has said she is unsure about how the revelations in her book will affect her relationship with Ronnie.
She said: ''I don't know if he'll ever speak to me again. I worry people are going to think, 'What the hell was she doing staying with him?' When I look back on stuff I think, 'Ooh, what a rotten b*****d he was.' ''
