Rock legends including Sir Mick Jagger, Bryan
Adams, and Sting have joined modern-day pop stars such as Lily Allen
and Maroon 5 in signing up for a drive to make eco-friendly guitars.
Officials at campaign group Reverb are pushing for tougher legislation on the trading of illegally-logged wood, and they've received star backing in their efforts to ensure musical instruments are environmentally sound.
They've launched an online petition calling for guitars to be made from "sustainable, legally harvested wood" - and a host of musicians, including Willie Nelson, Jason Mraz, and Jack Johnson, have signed up.
