Mick Jagger's alleged Zurich balcony lover is ballerina Melanie Hamrick...

By Carla Hay
American ballerina Melanie Hamrick is the previously unidentified woman who was photographed cuddling and kissing Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger on a Zurich hotel balcony on June 1, 2014, according to the Daily Mail. A Jagger spokesman confirmed to the Daily Mail that Hamrick (who is 27 and lives in New York City) actually met Jagger for the first time in Tokyo on March 6, 2014, when she and other dancers from the American Ballet Theatre were invited backstage at a Rolling Stones concert.
At the time she met Jagger, Hamrick was engaged to José Manuel Carreño, a 46-year-old ballet dancer, who relocated to California earlier this year to become an artistic director of Ballet San Jose. Hamrick and Carreño began dating in 2008 and got engaged in 2011. The long distance might have taken a toll on their relationship, since Hamrick has recently been seen not wearing her engagement ring, according to the Daily Mail.
According to Daily Entertainment News: Hamrick was born in "Williamsburg, Virginia, whеrе ѕhе began hеr ballet training аt Eastern Virginia School оf thе Performing Arts with Sandra Balestracci. Hamrick trained fоr fivе years аt thе Kirov Academy оf Ballet in Washington, D.C. undеr thе teachers Adrienne Dellas, Nikolai Morozov, Mme. Morkovina аnd hеr mаin teacher Mme. Sizova. Hamrick attended thе summer program аt thе School оf American Ballet fоr thrее years аnd ABT’s Summer Intensive Program in 2003. Shе joined American Ballet Theatre’s Studio Company in September 2003 аnd joined ABT аѕ a member оf thе corps dе ballet in April 2004."
By the time Hamrick and Jagger met up in Zurich (where the Rolling Stones had a concert as part of the band's "14 on Fire") tour, she and Jagger got to know each other well enough that she spent the night with him at the hotel where he was staying, according to several published reports. She was photographed kissing Jagger on the back of his head while lounging on the hotel balcony in "morning after" pictures snapped by paparazzi.
As previously reported, although some people have expressed outrage that Jagger has apparently moved on to dating other women nearly three months after the suicide of his longtime girlfriend L'Wren Scott, the majority of people commenting on the Internet are saying that Jagger should not be judged so harshly since people have their own ways of grieving. Many people also find it hard to believe that a rock star like Jagger (who has a longtime reputation of being a womanizer and who has many groupies and other people who want to sleep with him) would stay celibate for a long period of time after Scott's death.
Scott (who was a model-turned-stylist-turned-fashion designer) and Jagger began dating in 2001. She was found hanged from a doorknob in her New York City apartment on March 17, 2014. According to the Daily Mail, Hamrick (who has not talked to the media since her alleged fling with Jagger) lives just three miles from the apartment where Scott lived.
An unnamed source close to Jagger commented to the Daily Mail about Hamrick: "The girl in Zurich was just a brief fling but she isn’t the first and won’t be the last. Mick is like an old dog who can’t be taught new tricks. Even before he started singing, he was a womanizer and he still is. He knows no other way. I’m not sure what the girl in Zurich thinks, but she is a goner."
