They are heading to Asia and Australia to perform in the next few months.

But first The Rolling Stones are reportedly set to play an intimate gig in Paris on February 10 ahead of their 14 – On Fire tour.

The Wild Horses hitmakers' fuelled speculation that they are going to perform at Le Trianon concert hall after being spotted out and about in the French capital city on Tuesday, but without frontman Mick Jagger.

Band members Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood were all photographed leaving the George V Hotel, but the loose-limbed singer was nowhere to be seen.

Ronnie and Keith appeared to be colour co-ordinated as the two guitarists stepped out in fetching purple attire.

Keith wore a dark purple jumper underneath a shirt in a lighter shade of the colour, while Ronnie opted for a purple scarf over the top of his blue, white and red checked shirt, which was possibly a nod to the French flag's tricolour design of the same colours.

But Charlie opted against following suit, instead deciding to wrap up warm in a leather jacket and a grey and white scarf.

According to a number of French websites, the rockers have already started rehearsing for the special performance, for which around 1,000 tickets are expected to be made available.

Should the rumoured performance become a reality then it wouldn't be the first time the Satisfaction group has played an surprise gig in the French capital.

In 2012, The Rolling Stones played to just 600 people at the tiny La Trabendo rock club in the north of the city.

The group played a 12-song set, which included classics such as It's Only Rock and Roll and Jumpin' Jack Flash, and they finished with their 1971 hit Brown Sugar.
