Rolling Stones planning 2014 tour of Europe; '14 on Fire' rehearsals in Paris

The Rolling Stones are planning to take their "14 on Fire" tour to Europe in the summer of 2014, according to a Pollstar report published on Feb. 4, 2014. The European tour dates have not been announced yet, but Pollstar reports that Sensible Events chief Andrew Zweck is the coordinator for the tour's European concerts, and he "will be working on a consultancy basis for AEG Live, which is handling the business for the rest of the world."
Meanwhile, on Feb. 3, 2014, the Rolling Stones began rehearsing in Paris for their "14 on Fire" tour, according to It's Only Rock 'N Roll, a Rolling Stones fan site. (See the rehearsal set lists at the end of this article.)
On Dec. 3, 2013, the Rolling Stones began announcing concert dates in Asia, Australia and New Zealand for their "14 on Fire" tour of 2014. The announcements were made on the Rolling Stones' official Internet outlets. Frontier Touring and AEG Live are the concert promoters for the tour in Australia and New Zealand.
As previously reported, the band's first concert that was announced on the "14 on Fire" tour was March 22, 2014, at the re-opened Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, Australia. Tickets went on sale on Nov. 25, 2013. Not surprisingly, the concert sold out.
The Rolling Stones' previous tour of Australia and New Zealand was in 2006, as part of their "A Bigger Bang" world tour.
For the Down Under tour dates in 2014, the Rolling Stones announced: "A limited selection of 'lucky dip' seats from each venue will also be available to purchase at a very special price of just $99 via www.rollingstones.com on Monday, 16 December (from 9am local time), ensuring that some of even the best tickets can be snapped up for a bargain by genuine fans."
In a statement, Rolling Stone lead singer Mick Jagger commented on the 2014 tour dates Down Under: “Can’t wait to reconnect with all our friends in Australia & New Zealand. It’s been a while since we’ve played to you all, so we are looking forward to being back on stage & playing your favorite songs.”
Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards added: “We all had such a ball this year and so we wanted to keep it going! The energy between the band is better than ever and we’re all looking forward to coming back Down Under. I can’t wait to get back on the stage with the boys.”
Frontier Touring’s Michael Gudinski said, “It’s been a lifelong ambition of mine to bring the legendary Stones back down under and I cannot say how excited I am about their 2014 tour. With just one night only confirmed for each city plus a very special one-off concert at Hanging Rock, this tour will be talked about for decades to come.”
Former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor, who was a special guest on the Rolling Stones' "50 and Counting" concerts in 2012 and 2013, will continue to be a special guest on the Rolling Stones "14 on Fire" tour.
According to an announcement made by the Rolling Stones: "The stage design for the indoor concerts is based on the band’s ubiquitous tongue and lips logo, which extends out into the audience. The exclusive ‘Tongue Pit’ GA Standing area inside the stage will give a limited number of fans in this area an incomparable 360-degree concert experience. Known for their groundbreaking sets and use of cutting-edge technology, the Stones’ set design will feature video screens and special effects that will enhance the high-octane experience of attending a live Stones show.
