By Carla Hay: On July 1, 2014, the Rolling Stones performed their classic song
"All Down the Line" (from the 1972 album "Exile on Main Street"), in a
song request voted for by fans, at the Stones' concert in Stockholm at
the Tele2 Arena. The concert was part of the Rolling Stones' "14 on
Fire" tour. According to the
Rolling Stones' official website:
"The show marked the bands’ 26th ever show in Sweden, and the sold-out
crowd of 40,000 fans were treated to a 19-song set, which included ‘All
Down The Line,’ voted for by over 90,000 fans online in a very close
result." The report did not say which song came in second place.
The other songs that fans chose from in the online poll were "Get Off
of My Cloud," "Street Fighting Man," "Dead Flowers," "Let's Spend the
Night Together" and "Bitch." "All Down the Line" has been performed at
least once in many Rolling Stones tours since 1972.
