Richards also previewed the songs for a few dozen guests at a
listening party at Electric Ladyland Studios in New York City. According
to Rolling Stone magazine, Richards spoke briefly at the event, singling out his manager Jane Rose and music
collaborator Steve Jordan for their help with the album. "Richards hung
out in the corner of the room with Jordan, punctuating select tracks
with terse commentary," according to Rolling Stone.
