Sir Mick Jagger: 'Rolling Stones Asked Security Guards To Step Aside When Filming Shows'
Sir Mick Jagger has revealed the Rolling Stones concert movies don't reflect the chaos at the front of their shows - because security staff were often asked to vacate the stage area so they wouldn't appear on camera.
In a new interview accompanying the group's newly-released Some Girls Live in Texas '78, the rocker admits it was common to ask burly bouncers to step aside when the Stones were on film.
He explains, "Maybe for the filming we got rid of the security because it never looks good... They get in the way and they see a camera... and they want to be in the shot.
"Probably, (promoter) Bill Graham, being clever, got rid of security, which is why you don't see them."
The new Dvd/Blu-Ray concert movie was filmed at a 1978 show in Fort Worth.
