On March 6, 2014,
the Rolling Stones performed their third and final
Tokyo concert of 2014 at Tokyo Dome, as part of the Stones' "
14 on Fire" tour. According to
an announcement on the Rolling Stones' website, the concert was the 28th time that the Stones played at Tokyo Dome, making the
Rolling Stones the act that has played Tokyo Dome the most.
The announcement on the Rolling Stones' website noted: "The winner of
the fan vote was ‘Respectable,’ on which the band were joined by
legendary Japanese musician, Tomoyasu Hotei (most famous for his
original song ‘Battle Without Honor or Humanity’ which is featured on
the 'Kill Bill' soundtrack)."
