Rolling Stones to broadcast New Jersey show on Sky Box Office
The Rolling Stones have confirmed that they will be broadcasting one of their two New Jersey shows live on Sky Box Office in December
The band, who are reuniting for two London shows and a further pair of dates in America, will make their December 15 date at Newark's Prudential Centre available to fans in the UK who will be able to pay £14.95 to see the band on TV. The Sky Box Office broadcast will start at 2AM (GMT) on December 16 with viewers also able to download the show to their Sky planner for viewing at a more convenient time.
Speaking about the broadcast of The Rolling Stones US gig, Ian Lewis, director of Sky Box Office said: "Sky is thrilled to be able to offer our customers The Rolling Stones' 50th Anniversary Concert live in their living room. Whether live or on demand, customers will be able to enjoy the gig exactly at a time that suits them. And with the whole gig available in HD and in Dolby Surround Sound, it's the next best thing to being there."
The decision to charge fans to see a broadcast of the reunion show may well anger fans already left smarting at being priced out of the band's London shows. Tickets started at around £95 each and rose to around £375 for the best seats, meaning many people could not afford to attend. Despite this, tickets for both O2 Arena dates are making thousands of pounds on secondary ticketing sites online.
The Rolling Stones warmed up for their comeback shows with a tiny date in Paris last week. Just 600 lucky fans got to watch the Stones in full glory as they played a string of hits including "Tumbling Dice", "It's Only Rock And Roll", "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Brown Sugar". They also debuted new track "Doom And Gloom".

Ronnie Wood and Sally Humphreys are reportedly engaged...
Ronnie Wood and Sally Humphreys are reportedly engaged.
Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, 65, is reportedly engaged to theater producer Sally Humphreys, 34, whom he has been dating since late 2011.
Wood and Humphreys have not yet commented on this report, which originally appeared in The Sun. A source told The Sun: “Ronnie and Sally have been friends a long time. He always had an eye for her but she was in a relationship. They’ve been inseparable for months and he decided to tie the knot again. Keith Richards has been laughing about it. He’s sick of buying him wedding presents.”
Ronnie has been married and divorced twice. He and his first wife, Chrissie, were married from 1971 to 1978. Chrissie died of a suspected Valium overdose in 2005. Ronnie and his second wife, Jo (a former model whose maiden name is Howard) got together with Ronnie in 1977, when he was still married to Chrissie. Ronnie and Jo got married in 1985. They have two children together: Leah (born in 1978) and Tyrone (born in 1983). Ronnie's eldest child, Jesse, is from his first marriage. Jo's eldest child is a son named Jamie from a previous relationship.
In 2008, Ronnie left Jo for Ekaterina Ivanova, who was an 18-year-old waitress at the time. That relationship ended about a year later, shortly after Ivanova accused Ronnie of domestic abuse. (He was let off with a strong warning by law enforcement.)
In 2009, Jo filed for divorce. The divorce was finalized in 2011.
From January 2010 to September 2011, he dated polo instructor/student Ana Araujo. After breaking up with Araujo, he had a brief fling with jewelry salesperson Nicola Sargent before he went public with his romance with Humphreys in late 2011.
As far as anyone knows, Humphreys has never been married before and she does not have children. She comes from a middle-class family (he parents are music teachers) in Birmingham, England. Unlike Ronnie, who is a recovering drug addict and alcoholic, Humphreys has led a healthy lifestyle (one of her hobbies is running marathons), according to anonymous sources who've known her for a long time who talked to the tabloids about her. Humphreys studied drama student in her university days, and she has been descried by friends as intelligent, very easy to like, and having a passion for theater. She met Ronnie several years ago when she collaborated with him on a few of his solo projects and his 2007 memoir, "Ronnie."
In a June 2012, interview with the Daily Mail, Ronnie's stepson Jamie told the Daily Mail that he approves of Humphreys: “She’s a lovely girl and she’s no groupie — I can assure you of that. It’s good for him because he needs someone a bit more like my mum — someone more solid — and that’s what Sally is. She’s a nice girl and we’ve known her for years.
"She’s been a friend of dad’s for a long time, but she always had a boyfriend, which I think held him back. But now the boyfriend’s gone, they’re free to be with each other. She’s not his type, that’s the unusual thing. Sally’s definitely not one of the bimbos he usually goes for. That’s great because she’s exactly what he needs. He’s getting a bit old now — I don’t think he can keep up with bimbos any more."
Jamie and Ronnie's kids with Jo had been estranged from Ronnie after he left Jo for Ivanova, but the children have since reconciled with Ronnie now that Ivanva is out of his life.
TALK IS CHEAP.!!
Regarding the music, when we work together, something happens that does not know how to define, do not know how and why our work bears fruit: I guess they are mysteries of alchemy.KEITH RICHARDS.

Ronnie Wood Auctions Off Rolling Stones Memorabilia Following Divorce...
Ronnie Wood Auctions Off Rolling Stones Memorabilia Following Divorce
Divorces can be a hard time, especially if you're Ronnie Wood and you have to sell off a boatload of your stuff to pay for it, as was the case yesterday when the veteran rocker took to Julien's Auctions in New York to sell on some of his most valuable possessions. The masses of memorabilia on auction spanned four decades of the famed guitarist's work with The Rolling Stones, with the two-day auction selling on all manner of things, including several worn leather and velvet jackets, some real and some cardboard guitars, an assortment of tour ephemera and a signed lithograph of Eric Clapton. Two of the highest fetching items that Wood sold included a white leather coat for $8,960, and a lithograph of Eric Clapton drawn by Wood that includes both the guitarists' signatures fetching $5,120.
However, neither of these came close to matching the sums his guitars amassed, with a 1955 Fender Stratocaster guitar often used on stage by Wood fetching a whopping $60,800. Even one of the cardboard guitars fetched a pretty penny, with a guitar cut-out given to Wood by fellow Stones guitarist Keith Richards selling for $6,875.
Next February marks the release of the memoirs of Wood's ex-wife Jo, in which the former Mrs Wood has promised to reveal what life was like as the wife of a Rolling Stone. The two were married for 23 years before Ronnie walked out on the marriage in 2008 for a young cocktail waitress named Ekaterina Ivanova. The couple's divorce was finalized in 2011, with the items sold at auction being claimed as 'jointly owned' items by the pair by Julien's.
Something of history:“Senator Javits, I’d like to introduce Mick Jagger and Bianca Jagger.” “Oh yeah, and they have a check for you for $350,000.”
“Senator Javits, I’d like to introduce Mick Jagger and Bianca Jagger.” “Oh yeah, and they have a check for you for $350,000.”
A rare and fascinating as well as historical lot of Mick Jagger items from the early 70′s. Mick Jagger and his new bride Bianca traveled to New York to present Senator Jacob Javits of New York, a sizable check for $350,000 to aid the Nicaraguan Earthquake victims, of which Bianca’s family were some.
Here is an autograph signed by both Mick and Bianca on a US Senate notepad, as well as original news clippings from the meeting of the two.
In 1973, The Stones gave a benefit concert in LA to help to raise money. the ticket stub shown is from that show. The watch pictured was later donated by Jagger to LA radio station KMET-FM, who ran a week long auction to raise additional money for the victims.
The watch was a gift from Atlantic Records President Ahmet Ertegun, to Jagger right about the time the Stones signed the deal with Atlantic.
THANKS TO GARY ROCKS.

48 Years Ago – The Rolling Stones Banned from the Ed Sullivan Show...
48 Years Ago – The Rolling Stones Banned from the Ed Sullivan Show
by: Dave Swanson 3 hours ago
Though the show became synonymous with new young rock and roll acts, it was a variety show, meaning the Stones had to share the evening with violinist Itzhak Perlman, comedy duo Stiller and Meara, and a family acrobatic act to name a few. The band performed two songs from their ’12 X 5′ album, ‘Time Is On My Side’ and ‘Around And Around.’ Sullivan had to repeatedly quiet down the screaming teens in the audience during the not so rocking acts. The pandemonium caused by the band led the Sullivan show to ban them from any future appearances. The ban was short lived, and they were back the following year.
The band’s appearance was, needless to say, loved by the ‘youngsters’ (as Ed would call them), but loathed by parental units everywhere. The show received several complaints including a telegram that read: ” (You) Should be ashamed of yourself putting on such trash as the Rolling Stones. A Disappointed Viewer. Claude Lopez.”
This didn’t stop the band from return visits over the next five years. Ed, as you can tell from the various appearances, really took a shine to the band and even joked to the audience “You’re yelling much better this year” during their third appearance on the show.
Rolling Stones to play warm-up show in Paris tonight...
