Ronnie Wood's Ex-wife Releasing Photograph Book...

Jo Wood split from the Rolling Stones guitarist in 2008 following his affair with waitress Ekaterina Ivanova and subsequently released a tell-all autobiography about their 24-year marriage in 2013.
She is now preparing to follow it up with a book of personal photographs, which will include snaps of Wood and their children.
She tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "It will be a coffee table picture book of unseen pictures of people and places and parties from the past 30 years."

The Rolling Stones have earned £70 million on their US tour...

The band performed 14 dates across the US during their 'Zip Code' tour - which began in May before ending earlier this month - and pocketed themselves the huge sum of money after selling 628,733 tickets.
In total, Billboard magazine reports the 'Satisfaction' hitmakers - comprised of Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood - received gross earnings of $109.7 million (£70 million) for the live stint.
The string of dates came after several tours across Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand since 2012, when the band reformed following a five-year hiatus.
Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones recently announced their first international exhibition, 'EXHIBITIONISM', which will open at London's Saatchi Gallery in April 2016.
On show in the exhibition will be over 500 artefacts from the band's personal archives including original stage designs, rare guitars and instruments as well as previously unheard audio tracks and video clips.
Guitarist Ronnie explained: ''The exhibition is an insight into an ongoing machine and institution that will never stop rumbling. We didn't get into this exhibition with the thought of retiring. It's just another input into the travelling circus.''
And following the success of their recent live comeback, guitarist Keith has vowed they have no plans to part ways any time soon.
He insisted: ''People have said we're splitting up since every tour from about 1975. If anybody should be interested in when we're going to quit, it should be the Stones, and they're not particularly interested in doing so.''

Keith Richards: Under the Influence documentary coming to Netflix in September...

The documentary, directed by Oscar winner Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom), explores the sounds and influences of the Rolling Stones icon as he creates his first solo album in more than 20 years.
“If there’s a Mount Rushmore of rock ’n’ roll, Keith’s face is surely on it. He has always represented the soul of rock music — for all of the light and dark shades that implies,” Neville said. “To my relief, Keith Richards turned out to be a real man — full of humor, knowledge and wisdom. That’s the real Keith we’ve worked to capture in our film and I’m honored to bring it to a global audience via Netflix.”
The documentary will include “both new and beloved music, rare archival materials and hours of intimate and reflective conversations” with Richards, the announcement said, and will also visit “key people and places” that have inspired his music.
Richards’ new album, Crosseyed Heart, will feature 15 songs that include reggae, rock, country, and blues influences (he previewed one of those songs, “Trouble,” earlier this month). The album is set to be released Sept. 18, the same day Under the Influence debuts on Netflix.

Someone stole Mick Jagger’s Maraca. And I found it. (Garyrocks)

In honor of Sir Mick’s birthday a reblog. HBD Mick!****Originally posted on Gary Rocks. A blog about collecting Vintage Rock and Roll Memorabilia.:image6image4
image8What a fantastic story and great piece to be able to add to my collection thanks to a good friend who connected me with the owner. One of Mick Jagger’s Maracas from a concert in Albany, NY April 29, 1965.
This maraca has see a lot of wear and use. The wood has weathered over the years and it has a wonderful deep warm patina to it. It is roughly 49 years old.
The maraca is in the original condition as purchased from the owner. In the photos below Mick can be seen using one that is this same exact style, with three carved flowers on it.
