Rolling Stones to hit the studio after the 14 on Fire tour

In an informative interview with the New Zealand Herald, Keith Richards has hinted that the Rolling Stones are to get back in the studio for a new album after the forthcoming 14 on Fire tour.

Keith told the Herald that he and Mick were always writing on the road. He said, "We always have some work on the go and it's about getting off the hiatus and back in the studio. I think we have plans. Don't nail me down, but I got a call from Mick the other day saying sometime this year we better get in the studio."

"When Mick and I are on the road we put ideas together and one thing leads to another. Playing live gives songwriting and recording more impetus, so I'm hoping we can come out with something great over the next few months."

That said, it recently came to light that Keith has been recording his own material with producer and long-time collaborator Steve Jordan in New York City. It will be interesting to see whether polishing off a solo album, or starting a new one with the Stones, will take priority after the tour is complete.By rollingtime.org

Georgia May Jagger says partying in Las Vegas was the best birthday ever.
The British beauty turned 22 at the end of January and still hasn't got over her wild birthday bash, which saw her jet off to the US gambling capital with her supermodel pals and paint the town red on a party bus.
Asked about her latest obsession, she told France's Be magazine: ''Las Vegas. I spent the weekend there for my 22 birthday with 20 or so of my friends: my roommate Cara [Delevingne], my pals Suki [Waterhouse] and Tyra [Banks], my sister Lizzie [Jagger]... It was the best birthday of my life, a very good trip.''
Probed about the highlight of her stay, she teased: ''Going to see Celine Dion in concert at Caesars Palace in Vegas or taking a party bus with a stripper's pole on it? I don't know which to choose... What stays in Vegas (nearly always) stays in Vegas.''
The blonde - whose parents are Rolling Stones singer Sir Mick Jagger and former model Jerry Hall - also revealed her last big bust-up was with her agent, who dragged her away from the party against her will.
She explained: ''I had to leave my own party way too early because I had to take a plane very early the next morning. I love having fun. I really don't understand models who always look miserable.''

Jo Wood says Sir Mick Jagger will recover from L'Wren Scott's suicide.

The star - who divorced Mick's Rolling Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood in 2009 - has said he will be able to ''get over'' the tragic death of his long-term girlfriend.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: ''Of course he'll get over it, you learn to live with it.''
Meanwhile, it is said the iconic rock 'n' roll star is devastated after the fashion designer took her own life and he is removing all reminders of her from the home they shared.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper, a source said: ''Mick is so distraught and he is just having any little keepsakes removed. He can't bear seeing her clothes or the photos of them together.
''He feels so let down by her and really believes there must be something he could have done to help her. He is devastated and really struggling to cope.''
L'Wren's sister Jan Shane has also recently thanked Mick for ''sharing'' her ashes with her family.
She said: ''I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, Mick's kind gesture of sharing the ashes.
''It's especially pleasing to know her ashes will be buried net to mum and dad because L'Wren was so close to them.''

Bill Wyman has put his rocky relationship with Sir Mick Jagger aside and reached out to his former Rolling Stones bandmate in the aftermath of L'wren Scott's suicide.
Jagger has been in mourning since his partner of more than a decade took her own life while the band was on tour in Australia last week (beg17Mar14).
Wyman was rumoured to have fallen out with Jagger in 2012 after the singer refused to let him play more than two songs at a comeback gig in London that year, but he has put their differences aside and offered his condolences to his former colleague following Scott's funeral in Los Angeles on Tuesday (25Mar14).
The veteran rocker tells Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "My wife and I can only offer our deepest condolences to Mick and hope he is doing well."

Sources familiar with Mick Jagger are buzzing that when the Rolling Stones rocker was left his late girlfriend L’Wren Scott’s entire $9 million estate, she was simply giving him his stuff back.
Reports have said Jagger paid for Scott’s multimillion luxury pad through holding company Scottland Management.
“He bought her the apartment, bought her all the jewelry,” said a source. “She was giving him back everything he’d already given her.”

The late fashion designer left her estate to her long term Rolling Stones boyfriend.

L'Wren Scott has surprised her family by leaving her entire $9 million estate to her long-term partner, Mick Jagger. Scott's will states that the Rolling Stones rocker should receive her entire fortune and did not name any other beneficiaries. In fact, Scott made it clear she did not want any proceeds of her estate to go to family members.

In her will, she wrote: "I give all my jewelry, clothing, household furniture and furnishings, personal automobiles, and other tangible articles of a personal nature, or my interest in any such property, not otherwise specifically disposed of by this will or any other matter together with my insurance on the property, to Michael Philip Jagger. I give the rest and residue of my estate to my Michael Philip Jagger," via the NY Daily News.

L'Wren's Will Explicitly States That Her Family Should Not Receive Any Of Her Estate.

"Expect if otherwise provided in this will, I have intentionally omitted to provide herein for any other of my heirs living at the date of my death," she said, ruling that her adoptive family should not receive proceeds from her estate. Scott's adoptive Mormon parents are both dead but she has two siblings: a brother, Randall Bambrough and a sister, Jan Shane.
A grieving Shane has allegedly lashed out at Mick Jagger over his choice to bury his deceased girlfriend in Los Angeles, rather than Ogden, Utah, where she was brought up. "It's become a media circus, it's so not how Luann would have wanted it," she said, using L'Wren's original name. "All you read is how devastated he [Jagger] is, well, he's not the only one. I don't get to see her, neither do her family and the friends that she grew up with. We want to say goodbye, but he's taken over.

Mick Jagger Has Been Accused Of Turning L'Wren's Death Into A "Media Circus."

"It's Mick and his kids that are making all the decisions [...] He hijacked this funeral. Yes, he was with her for 13 years, but family is family, that's what it boils down to [.] She's a human being, she made a life that was hers, not his. She deserves to be remembered for herself," argued 53 year-old Shane, adding "She'll be buried and passed away as Mick's girlfriend, not Luann Bambrough or L'Wren Scott. It's so far blown out of proportion, she's a human being, she deserves more."
Scott was laid to rest on the 25th March in front of members of Jagger's family and some of the couple's friends. The funeral was attended by 70 people and lead by a visibly upset Jagger who paid tribute to his lover.
